Rising Ohio hip-hop collective The Council 2432 is making waves on the national stage. In a recent sit-down interview with DJ Scenario at the iHeartRadio Studios in New York City, the newly formed Ohio-based group discussed their debut LP, A Dose of Reality, released under Dominion Hill Records.
The group used the opportunity to speak on a number of key milestones, including their performance at a major 420 cannabis celebration in Ohio, which drew over 5,000 fans. DJ Scenario also premiered the exclusive full-length interview on Power 105.1 FM, helping introduce The Council 2432 to a wider national audience.

“For me, it’s all about getting the artist in front of as many people as possible,” says Billy Blaize, CEO of 2432 Entertainment and manager of The Council. “Whether it’s through radio, podcasts, or live performances—just letting people hear the music. We’re grateful for the position we’re in and the platforms we’ve been given.”
The 420 festival, which spanned three days in Eastern Ohio, was a massive success. Hosted by Billy Blaize, the event featured headlining performances by The Council 2432 artists Mall Black, Jag Da Apostle, Matthew Cooper, Zach Wright, and Manny Divine. The group closed out the event with their powerful lead single, Unstoppable, leaving a lasting impression on thousands of attendees.
Since the release of A Dose of Reality in April, The Council 2432 has continued to build momentum. The group was recently invited to perform Unstoppable at the “I Got Bars” showcase in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, sharing the stage with industry heavyweights Cassidy and Harlem battle rap legend Charlie Clips.
The Council 2432 is a multicultural collective composed of solo artists, producers, and vocalists from across the Midwest, particularly the Ohio Valley region. Speaking on the group’s strong internal bond, Cleveland native Mall Black remarked:
“When you trust somebody with your life, it’s easy to trust them with your money,” in response to DJ Scenario’s question about the group’s dynamic and their relationship with founder Billy Blaize.
Looking ahead, fans can expect the official music video for Unstoppable—directed and produced by the group’s in-house creative team—to be released in May 2025.
Stay tuned and keep your ears to the streets—The Council 2432 is just getting started.
