Billboard U.K. is officially returning to the vibrant seaside city of Brighton for a second year in a row, once again taking over an exclusive stage at The Great Escape. The announcement further cements the festival’s reputation as a launchpad for the most exciting emerging talent in the U.K. and beyond.

The four-day showcase, running from May 13–16, will host the latest Billboard U.K. Live experience, following the success of last year’s headline performance from English Teacher. Building on that momentum, the 2026 edition promises to be even louder, bolder, and more electrifying.

For 2026, rising rock outfit Keo has been confirmed as the main headliner, marking another major milestone in the band’s fast-rising career. The group has been on a serious hot streak, selling out a spring headline tour across the U.K. and Ireland while also securing a major-label deal with Island Records.

Formed on the London gig circuit shortly after the lockdown period, Keo began turning heads last summer with the release of their Siren EP. Since then, they’ve gone on to make appearances at major festivals including Reading & Leeds and ESNS, while also landing a coveted opening slot for Kings of Leon at BST Hyde Park. Their aggressive live energy and no-holds-barred sound have quickly earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting new rock acts in the country.

Billboard U.K. on Supporting Emerging Talent

Commenting on the announcement, Thomas Smith, editor of Billboard U.K., highlighted the shared ethos between the publication and the festival.

“The Great Escape has long been a champion for spotlighting and supporting emerging talent, and this is a passion shared by the Billboard U.K. team,” Smith said. “After last year’s stage takeover, we’re thrilled to be returning again in 2026 and hosting a stellar headline set from Keo — one of the most exciting (and loudest) prospects in the U.K. scene right now. See you in the pit.”
