Edubb302’s breakthrough performance at Delaware Takeover

It was a cold and flu-ridden Saturday night in Delaware, but that didn’t stop the hottest artists from New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey from gathering in the First State for the Delaware Takeover. Organized by the ever-talented Idolized Productions, the competition promised a distribution deal to the artist who could steal the show. But little did they know, the real show-stealer would be a local boy from Delaware, who was feeling under the weather but ready to prove that the Diamond State has some serious talent.

Enter Edubb302, the self-proclaimed “real Edubb.” He had been hyped up all week in preparation for his performance, but when the time came, he was hit with flu-like symptoms. But as they say, the show must go on, and Edubb302 was not about to let a little sniffle stop him from making his mark.

As he took the stage, the crowd was skeptical. They had never heard of this Delaware rapper before, and they were sure he wouldn’t be able to hold his own against the out-of-state competition. But as soon as Edubb302 opened with his hit song “Rockstar,” the crowd was hooked. His unorthodox flow, which he likes to switch up throughout his tracks, was unlike anything they had ever heard before. And as he told the story of his city and the struggles of the people there, the crowd couldn’t help but feel emotionally invested in his music.

It was a special moment, and one that Edubb302 will never forget. “When I opened with ‘now I gotta give yall the real Edubb,’ it was an amazing feeling,” he says. “I proved to myself that I can do anything I put my mind and heart to.”

But Edubb302 didn’t stop there. He also performed his latest track, “Sturdy,” which is set to release on January 27th, 2023, and even brought out his close friend and frequent collaborator Cost the Reiligion to perform their hit song “Promises.” The crowd was blown away by the raw talent and authenticity of these Delaware-based artists, and they couldn’t stop raving about it afterwards.

“I gained new followers and collab requests after my performance,” Edubb302 says. “It was a real game-changer for me and for the perception of Delaware artists as a whole.”

And the best is yet to come for Edubb302. He has big plans for the rest of 2023, including more performances and festivals, and he plans to release new music on a monthly schedule. “The goal is continuous growth and gaining more exposure,” he says. “So be sure to tune in, because the best is yet to come.”

So, next time you’re in Delaware and you hear someone sneezing, don’t be so quick to assume they’re just a pesky flu-ridden local. It could be none other than Edubb302, the real Edubb, who is ready to take over the game and prove that Delaware has some serious talent. Follow him on Instagram and check out his music on all major streaming platforms. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
